At Hoop School, our camps are designed to develop WABL-ready players and build the foundation for future champions. We go beyond the basics, focusing on skill refinement, basketball IQ, and game-time confidence.
Through elite coaching, position-specific drills, team strategy sessions, and competitive gameplay, each athlete is pushed to reach their full potential. Whether your child is aiming to make a rep team or simply wants to take their game to the next level, Hoop School delivers a high-energy, professional environment where work ethic, leadership, and love for the game are instilled every session.

Build individual fundamentals with focused station work:
– Dribbling – Emphasise ball control, speed, and agility drills.
– Shooting – Work on form shooting, free throws, and shooting off the dribble.
– Passing – Practice chest passes, bounce passes, and passing under pressure.
– Defense – Develop stance, lateral movement, and 1-on-1 defensive techniques.
Teach how to play smart basketball as a unit:
– Run offensive and defensive team drills.
– Highlight communication, spacing, and teamwork in real-game scenarios.
Make learning fun and high-energy with skill challenges:
– Shooting Contests – Spot shooting and free throw battles.
– Dribbling Relays – Timed obstacle courses to boost speed and control.
– Passing Challenges – Target passing under time or pressure.
End with gameplay and reflection:
– Play short-sided games where campers apply what they’ve learned.
– Rotate teams to build camaraderie and interaction.
– Finish with light stretching and a group review of key takeaways and improvements.
